About Us
Mika-Der is a non-profit organization established to open Children’s Houses, Houses of Affection and Rehabilitation Centres (Children’s Support Centres) affiliated to the General Directorate of Child Services under the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, improve the living standards in governmental kindergartens and orphanages as well as Children’s Houses and Houses of Affection, and prepare children sheltered in those institutions for their present and future life by means of education, music, theatre, sports and psychological support.
Its mission is to reach all the cities in our country.
AIM
AIM: The aim of the association is to improve the living standards in the kindergartens and orphanages operated by the General Directorate of Child Services under the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, open Children’s Houses, Houses of Affection and Rehabilitation Centres (Children’s Support Centres), and prepare children sheltered in those institutions for their future life by means of education, music, theatre, sports and psychological support.
Its mission is to reach all the cities in our country.
Mode of Operation: The association receives the permits for the intended city from the General Directorate of Child Services under the Ministry of Family and Social Policies and the Governorate and prepares the plans for the project (e.g. Children’s Houses, Houses of Affection and Rehabilitation Centres [Children’s Support Centres]) and commences the construction process. After the project is completed, the team oversees and supervises the activities on site along with the governmental authorities. The association is dedicated to achieve the necessary financial support by organizing several events such as concerts and balls or by receiving donations.
